Upon hearing Balogh’s intention to leave Debrecen, the management started to look for another goalkeeper after the end of the 2007/2008 season. Balogh’s transfer fell through but the club and the supporters welcomed their new signing, former teammate of Kouemaha, Vukasin Poleksic who turned down Austrian and Serie B offers for our No.1 shirt.  

He came from a family where all male members are obsessed wit football. Played for the local team until he was signed by Italian side Lecce in 2002. He got his chance in Serie A but deemed surplus as many non-EU players at the time. He was then signed by Hungarian side Tatabánya what he always thought of as a stepping stone. The chance of playing in Europe brought him to Debrecen as he is still chasing his way back to Serie A. First choice goalie for his country which only recently gained their independence.
